Beautification Team Leader

The City of Sheffield is accepting applications for a Beautification Team Leader as part of the Sheffield 365 initiative.

This is a hands-on field position focused on improving the appearance of Sheffield through corridor beautification, sidewalk and curb cleaning, litter removal, streetscape improvements, and other projects designed to raise the standard throughout our community.

The Beautification Team Leader will assist with the operation of THE BEAST RIG, Sheffield's specialized surface cleaning and beautification system, support city beautification efforts in the field, and help coordinate projects aimed at improving the appearance of public spaces throughout Sheffield.

Responsibilities May Include:

Operating THE BEAST RIG and other specialized equipment
Sidewalk, curb, and corridor restoration projects
Litter and debris removal
Sign and streetscape maintenance
Public space beautification projects
Assisting with field coordination of beautification activities
Other related duties as assigned

Applicant Requirements:

Dependable, self-motivated, and hardworking
Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to perform physically demanding work
Valid driver's license required
Willingness to operate equipment and work as part of a team
Pride in producing visible results that improve the community

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Pay: $14.03/hr, $14.31/hr after 1 year.
